Follow the signs to the Cacapon Mountain Overlook where you will be met with a gravel road that almost felt like climbing the mountains of Colorado (a little bumpy LOL). Once reaching the summit there is ample parking near the swing and the observation deck where you can see 4 states, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. The views were really beautiful, and I thought it was pretty cool getting to see 4 different states from our vantage point. A complaint I do have is the West Virginia state cut out that is used to take your own photos was positioned behind the swing and we were lucky there were others at the overlook to take our photo, just in case I would recommend bringing a tripod just to be safe! There is a step up for the observation deck, so I am unsure how handicap accessible it is, but the swing is easily accessible.

I agree! Thank you for sharing this with me, the road information is super helpful.
We live 5 hours away from this swing (the farthest away), It has a beautiful view The only complaint I have is that we had to make two trips to see this swing and view. The road to the swing is closed November to April I wish West Virginia tourism would put some better notes on the website about the swings
