When I heard that a second swing was coming to Monongalia County, I was thrilled! When I found out it was only a 9-minute drive I was ecstatic! It is unclear when the swing was officially installed as no press release went out or ribbon cutting ceremony, but I was grateful for a friend who reached out to me that her and her family stumbled upon the swing when they were on a family hike. The swing is located along the Yellow Trail/Fairy Door Trail at the park, you will follow the park signs to the Fairy Door Trail and park in a lower gravel parking lot near a baseball field and walk across the field and then you will see a rock painted with "Fairy Door Trail" and follow that gravel path for roughly .65 mile until you will see the swing on your right hand side. The swing is located next to the Pennsylvania and West Virginia state line, which makes it special to be able to stand in two states at the same time!
