Pipestem Resort

One of the reasons for me starting this blog was to help you, my dear reader (get the Bridgerton reference) easily locate these beautiful swings throughout our state. Pipestem Resort is best described as a miniature version of Stonewall Resort, with even better views from the resort's lobby. With no guidance from the WV State Tourism site on where to find the swing and no directional signs to point us in the right direction, we stopped at the resort's gift shop to ask for help. The lovely lady at the gift shop stated "Well, you are very close," followed by some directions that I felt comfortable relaying to my husband. Following the verbal directions provided to us, we were lost and no swing in sight. We were told the swing was to the left of the tennis courts, so we began following the signs for 'Game Courts', and there in fact was the swing! You can't miss it. Once found, the swing was very easy to get to with ample parking and if memory serves one sidewalk curb to step up to make your way down a short path to get to the swing. Picturesque backdrop, with views that go on for miles.
