Blackwater Falls

Follow the trail to the main overlook where you will see the Almost Heaven Swing, a complaint I have for this swing is you do not get the gorgeous views of the falls from the location of the swing. You would need to wait for winter where the trees are dead and maybe a ladder to get the angle just right to see them. Nonetheless, still a beautiful park and a fun stop along our journey to visiting all the swings. The swing is on a bit of a riser as you could tell they tried to elevate it to get you a view of the falls but unfortunately, this fell a bit flat; making the swing less accessible for those with limited access. I encourage you to take the MANY stairs down to the falls to get up close and personal, they are absolutely stunning. If they could find a way to have the falls in the background of the swing it would easily be my new favorite.
