Follow GPS to 208 Rumsey Monument Rd where you will see meter parking on the right hand side but you can continue into the park where you will immediately see the swing with several parking options. This new swing is located next to the Rumsey Monument in honor of James Rumsey who was the inventor of the steamboat. If you climb the steps to the monument you will see a beautiful view of the Potomac River. There is so much US History in this area with the Battle of Antietam battlefield located a short distance away as well as Harpers Ferry.
